Ingredients
  • 2 or 3 lean duck legs
  • 375g carrots
  • 3 onions
  • 3 tbl. margarine
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Paprika

Duck legs with braised carrots

Preparation

1- Cut the carrots into ½ cm strips.

2- Season well the legs with salt, pepper and paprika.

3- Melt the margarine in a roasting tin and brown the meat on all sides.

4- Add the onions and carrots.

5- Season.

6- Cover with 1/8 litres of water , cover with a tightly fitting lid and cook stirring from time to time.

7- Remove the legs and keep warm. Thicken the sauce.
